Rebecca is a Forensic Psychologist in training with over four years’ experience working with both adolescent and adult offenders in custodial settings who are experiencing substance misuse, mental health, complex personality and emotional difficulties and challenging behaviour. She has previously worked for the NHS where she gained experience providing psychological assessment and treatment to male and female offenders with mental health difficulties. This included trauma stabilisation work, compassion focussed therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy. She has also worked within the Offender Personality Disorder Pathway within a service designed to manage high risk female offenders.
Rebecca’s current work involves psychological assessments of risk with violent and sexual offenders. She completes assessments with a range of offenders and provides psychological consultation to other professionals to support the effective management of offenders with complex needs and challenging behaviour within custody.
