Reflecting on Relationships

An intervention programme designed to help those who have engaged in stalking behaviours.

Often our most challenging problems are related to family, friends and partners. It can be helpful to take time to reflect on our relationships and to consider how improvements can be made.

Reflecting on Relationships is a programme designed to help people consider their life and their relationships.   The intervention programme is particularly useful for people who have engaged in stalking behaviours.

A behavioural approach is adopted, using functional assessment to explore the function of an individual’s stalking related behaviour. Throughout the intervention, the individual is encouraged to reflect on their previous relationships, boundaries and their attachment style. They are supported to consider ways that they can meet the same function in healthier ways, and by adopting new ways of behaving. A Positive Psychology approach to developing well-being and good habits provides the basis for this element of the programme.

About the organisation:  Forensic Psychology Consultancy (FPC) is an independent psychology practice that comprises of Forensic and Clinical Psychologists.  The practice provides specialist individual assessment and therapy for people who have committed crime, been vicitmised, or are at risk.  FPC also provide consultancy and training to organisations to help develop their teams and engagement with service users.
