Healthy and Connected Workplace – Managers & Staff

A full day training workshop aimed at developing productivity, resilience and success in the workplace.

For many people modern working life can involve busy schedules, information overload and competing demands.  Working within the health, social and criminal justice sector generates additional challenges of being under-resourced, managing complex needs, and often not seeing a positive end product.  This can leave staff and services feeling demotivated and disconnected.

Developing a Healthy and Connected Workplace is a one-day training workshop aimed at staff and managers of health, social and criminal justice services.  In the last two decades positive psychology has helped influence the way we view productivity, resilience and success within the workplace. Global organisations now recognise that prioritising well-being in the workplace is key. Alongside these developments, advances in neuropsychology have increased understanding of how our brains react and manage with the demands of modern working life.

Drawing upon positive psychology and neuroscience this workshop will present evidenced-based and tried and tested techniques to help staff and managers reflect upon their working practices and consider practical strategies that can be implemented to develop productivity, resilience and success.

The workshop will involve a combination of presentation, video, group discussion, practical exercises, and examples from leading global organisations.

A primary focus of the workshop is learning how to apply the content to your service.  Time is spent to understand the particular needs of your service and consider how the principles can be implemented.

About the organisation:  Forensic Psychology Consultancy (FPC) is an independent psychology practice that comprises of Forensic and Clinical Psychologists.  The practice provides specialist individual assessment and therapy for people who have committed crime, been vicitmised, or are at risk.  FPC also provide consultancy and training to organisations to help develop their teams and engagement with service users.
